TIME HAS FALLEN ASLEEP IN THE AFTERNOON SUNSHINE

 Letter writing

Due to the restrictions of travels and encounters during spring 2020 a new format emerged within the practices of Time has fallen asleep the afternoon sunshine. As a way to continue the process of memory, and to read (and be read) by each other, the ‘books’ have been writing letters and sending to each other. Smaller and longer passages of the books we have memorised are written down in letter form, allowing time for work to continue. The letters of this first part of the exchange are collected in the archive of the project, and when time allows it we will find ways to share them with readers/ visitors who would like to read them. To continue, and as a natural development of the letter exchange during spring and summer (and extending), the ‘books’ are now writing letters to readers. On different occasions readers can sign up to receive a letter by post, written to them from one of the 'books’.
